About Me
Five years ago, I embarked on a new adventure and moved from Minneapolis to Seattle. Since then, I've been happily exploring my new surroundings and engaging in self-exploration to identify my true passions and desires. Now, after several years in process improvement and agile development, I'm excited to be pivoting to a career in UI/UX design.
Over the past 10 years, I have honed my skills in user-centered design and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders. I have initiated and led numerous projects aimed at enhancing internal user flows and refining information architecture, which in turn has resulted in cost reduction and improved customer satisfaction. While in my current position, I received an MBA and became LEAN certified.
From these experiences, I came to the realization that my skill set translates seamlessly into the UX industry where I could explore my passion for design.
I believe good design is not only about creating visually appealing interfaces, but also improving the overall user experience by making products easy to use and accessible to all.
Life can be overwhelming, and digital products should serve to alleviate that burden rather than contribute to it. My goal in every project is to design digital products that provide intuitive, user-friendly experiences that streamline tasks and help users achieve their goals efficiently, without adding unnecessary complexity or frustration.
I'm excited to apply my experience and knowledge to new challenges in UX/UI design and create innovative solutions that improve user experiences!
